Hi both,

Well, what can we say, Saturday was the most incredible day and experience of our lives, and that was in large part down to you and all the staff at Home Gurr’own.

Nicci – we spoke to so many guests that said the food was the best they have ever tasted at a wedding, and we can attest to that too. It was incredible. Every dish and canapé was absolutely perfect and their were absolute mountains of food. How you are able to pull all that off in a tent is absolutely beyond us, but wow. Incredible.

Please also pass on our thanks to Julian for the flowers – we couldn’t believe how many amazing flowers you had for us to pick, and they were just beautiful.

We’d also love for you to pass on our thanks to all the wonderful staff that were there on the day. They were all fantastic. So many people have said how attentive they all were – with water, wine and food topped up before anyone could notice and probably the most cheerful and fun evening food giver outers we’ve ever seen. Particular thanks to Bryan who managed to spot literally every time either of us didn’t have a drink and brought us one, and I think David, who ensured we had one of every canapé. Amazing.

And finally, Sophie. You were just incredible. You managed to put an overthinking control freak like me (Will) at absolute ease which meant I could just fully enjoy the day. From helping us set up the most perfect set up on Friday evening, to cueing our MCs, and adapting our playlists when we ran significantly over – you were perfect. I’m sure it was quite annoying how late we were getting things sorted on Friday, and how massively we overran on Saturday, but you genuinely made us both believe that it was the easiest and most simple thing to resolve in the world. You are a complete pro and we are so thankful that we had your skills (and calming words) to keep the show on the road.

We are both so thankful that we chose you, and that you were up for dealing with all of our mad ideas. Our day was perfect and you helped make that happen.
