The food is simply delicious.

Completely brilliant! Home Gurr’own catered our wedding at the Oak Barn in May – they were absolutely amazing and made our dream day become a reality. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

The food that Nicci and her team create is simply delicious. They bring their concept of locally grown, seasonal foods with family sharing style mains and then give all the flexibility to make it personal to you – tailoring to favourite foods or parts of the world you might love. We really enjoyed our chats with Nicci sharing ideas and agreeing on a menu that was unique to us. We were delighted with the result and so many of our friends and family commented on how delicious, fresh and fun the food was.

At the oak barn the catering team also run the day and Sophie was incredible in both the lead up, making sure we were all prepared, and on the day, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we didn’t have a thing to worry about!

The service from the whole team was equally brilliant – those with dietary requirements were carefully looked after and guests were never left with an empty glass!

We must give a special shout out to the desert and cocktail room of dreams that Nicci and Sophie created – a great example of them going the extra mile to make an idea a reality. On one of our early calls we mentioned “standing deserts”. Sophie took this initial idea and ran with it to make the most spectacular set up of delicious cocktails and deserts, including make you own sundaes, brownies and Italian trifle. And to top it off, even made a top hat and veil for our Colon and Connie caterpillar cakes!
