the best wedding food I have ever had

Dear Nicci

Where do I begin to thank you and all your team for all you did on Saturday and in the preparation days, weeks, months beforehand?

Your energy, enthusiasm  and experience were all so helpful in the planning.

Your flexibility and reassurances around Covid numbers, the change from barn to marquee etc were so encouraging.

Grace and I loved coming to pick flowers on Friday morning – a special thank you to Julian!

And the food!

Outstanding!

Easily the best wedding food I have ever had (and many guests have said he same). The presentation of the canapes, mains and desserts was stunning, and at times theatrical. So much attention to detail that just added  layer upon layer of experience, enjoyment and memories. Even pots of tea and jugs of milk! Amazing!

I would recommend you in a heartbeat.

Thank you for all your hard work.

We will miss you!

Dear Sophie

I am writing to thank you and your team for a fantastic job you did on Saturday (and before).

In all the preparation (including our concern about chilled wine) and the busyness of the day, at all times you were calm, available, attentive and responsive. As you had supported many times before the wedding, knowing you had everything in hand really did mean that. I could relax and enjoy the day!

Knowing that many of your team were new to Home Gurr’own makes it even more remarkable that every single one we spoke to, or asked for something to be brought or done, responded politely, efficiently and an encouraging way. A real testament to your management and training, I am sure.

I will never forget the sight of the staff lined up along the path with trays of sparkling Chapledown and Pimms, or the procession of baskets containing desserts!
