without a doubt, the best day of our lives

Dear Nicci and Sophie,

Thank you so much for the lovely email.

We are both struggling to find the words to express what Saturday actually meant to us. It was without a doubt, the best day of our lives, and we both haven’t stopped laughing and sobbing (very happy tears) ever since.

The overwhelming response from all of our guests, has been ‘Best wedding ever’. And we couldn’t agree more. And you and Sophie and all your wonderful team, were absolutely pivotal to that. As I walked around our tables at dinner, every single person I spoke too, said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. It completely blew everyone away. Your attention to detail…. the garnish on the cocktail’s; the presentation of the canapes; Sophie’s little 13th July staws (so adorable!); the edible rose petals accompanying the brownies, the tequila shots…. everything, everything was so perfect. Your staff were so friendly, so warm and so attentive. It was just amazing, and so so delicious.

You have made every point of contact easy, every meeting and tasting so pleasurable. Sophie was so supportive on the day. She calmed me down before the ceremony, when I was so nervous I thought I was going to faint, and her presence on the day, was so reassuring. I could see her trotting around, making sure everything was running smoothly, and it made me feel so relaxed. Sophie is literally the only person I would trust to touch my wedding boxes!!! She is an absolute credit to Home Gurrown and together you are such an amazing team.

So thank you so much for making our wedding day so awesome. When we started planning our wedding, I always wanted the food and drink to be the main focus. And that is exactly what you orchestrated, and the results were stunning. And thank you for making the whole experience so personable. We have loved getting to know you both, and enjoyed your company so much.

You will always have friends in Tony and I, and we will never forget what you have done for us, for as long as we live!
