Hi, my names Sophie and I’ll be your personal event planner and co-ordinator.  From the moment you book, we’ll take the stress out of organising and planning your event. Along with my colleagues we can help with the design, guest management, on the day co-ordination, equipment hire, waiting staff and lots more. My aim is help you create a memorable experience and ensure everything runs smoothly.

From our first meeting to the last drink we’ve got your back. Once you book with Home Gurr’own you’ll be assigned your own front of house manager who will work with you to ensure your event is on budget, on time and looking great.

For every successful event, we have a team behind the scenes working to ensure everything is ready and in place to receive your guests. From setting up the bar to arranging guest seating areas. We’ll be onsite a few days before getting everything ready.

What’s your preferred theme & colour?

For a seated meal the overall look and feel of the tables is an important part of your event. Floral centre pieces, glassware, crockery, cutlery and table linen can all play an important part. If you’re a little stuck on ideas please let us know and we can show what others have done. Otherwise let us know your style and we’ll sort the rest. Your tables will be laid up and ready for your guests.

Everything in place & on time

Instead of dealing with multiple vendors why not have us deal with all the vendors. It won’t cost you any extra. We’ll then deal with all the necessary paperwork and site visits. You’ll deal with one person and get one bill.

Hiring your equipment through Home Gurr’own won’t cost you extra. We receive a small trade to trade discount which goes towards paying for extra staff and ensuring your equipment is on time and in place.

We have some wonderful staff we can call upon to help us in the kitchen and to serve your food. Most of our staff have worked many of our previous weddings and events.

Cost of staff
Waiting Staff including bar management are charged at £14.50 + VAT per hour. The amount of staff hours is heavily dependent on the length and type of service for your event. For more information about prices see our pricing page.

Whatever your drink and bar requirements we can help

Drinks always ready

We’ll keep your drinks chilled, pour all your drinks, set a bar up, mix your cocktails and ensure all your guests have a drink in hand and topped up.

No corkage fee
Home Gurr’own do not charge any corkage fees. Please, bring your own alcohol to your own event there’s no extra charge.
